The eyeglasses workshop

The Bouamatou Foundation now has an eyeglasses workshop in collaboration with OPTIC 2000 which contributes to several aspects: - provision of workshop equipment - provision of lenses and frames - assistance with the setup and start of the workshop's production Ophthalmological consultations with the provision of medicines and eyeglasses are provided free of charge to all by the Bouamatou Foundation with priority given to pupils, students, and teachers. This workshop was inaugurated this month of January 2005, by the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Dean of the University of Nouakchott and Mr. Jean-Marie DANIAU, Director of Operations at OPTIC 2000.
