All modern ophthalmologic diagnostic and therapeutic means are present within the ophthalmologic hospital: the YAG laser for posterior capsulotomy in secondary cataracts and iridectomy, the ARGON laser for retinal photocoagulation, the automatic perimeter of the HUMPHREY type for automated visual field testing, a classic GOLDMANN perimeter for kinetic visual field, an ultrasound scanner for ocular ultrasounds A and B and the calculation of the implant power in cataract surgery, an angiograph as well as an automatic tonometer and refractometer and a large number of other devices.
